Who We Are
RCDS (NI) Ltd. is a partnership that was established in December 2009 by Stephen O’Hara and Michael Dunbar.
We specialise in reinforced concrete detailing solutions for the precast and in-situ concrete industries using TELKA 3D modelling and RC Cads software
We at RCDS are a professional team of senior structural detailer and BIM modellers.
We produce live cloud server models that we produce general arrangement, production and reinforcement drawings from.
We also supply reinforcing bar schedules and quantity reports of projects that we deliver.
We have three main parts of the business:
- Precast Architectural façade models and drawings
- Precast Stadium models and drawings
- Reinforced Insitu concrete models and drawings
Tekla Structures BIM (Building Information Modelling) software is the most efficient way to deliver all types of precast concrete elements at the right time to the right place by integrating design and detailing with manufacturing and project management.
CADS RC builds on AutoCAD, the industry-standard CAD platform. It fully exploits the stable 2D drawing environment of AutoCAD, tailoring a solution for rebar detailing and bar bending scheduling that meets the stringent requirements of the industry.
History
RCDS (NI) Ltd was established in 2009 and specialises in reinforced concrete detailing solutions for the precast and in-situ concrete industries. Having started business as two friends with vested interests we have developed a company that delivers prestige level BIM modelling and drawing work for the UK and Ireland.
- 2014 – We expanded and opened our Lisburn office
- 2013 – We expanded and opened our Derry office
- 2011 – We opened our Magherafelt office
